The Mean Dog
I was eight years old. I was walking down the main road. The main road was a regular road and was about 25 feet wide and I don’t know how long the road was. So, I was walking with my Mom, who has light brown curly hair. She also had dark green eyes. Also who was walking with me was my younger sister, who had hair that was light brown and her hair was curly at the ends. She also had medium shaded brown eyes. Also my little brother, who had really curly brown hair. He also had brown eyes. We were walking down to a little pond that had ducks in it.
The pond has a little open area for us to throw bread in. We only go down there when we have bread that we don’t need. When we finally got down there, my little brother realized he dropped his bread bag. My mom said I HAD to go get it. So, I went up the hill to get it because the main road is on a slight hill. But, the bread was on the sidewalk right next to a mean dog that always barked at me and it did not have a leash on. I didn’t think I could ran fast enough. So, knowing the odds were against me, I ran as fast as I can I didn’t hear it coming after me but I still ran as fast as I could. When I finally got down to the pond, I felt like I would just fall down on the hard sidewalk and lay there for the rest of the day. But my mom said the dog had a collar on that would shock him if he ran out of the yard. So, I never again was afraid that the dog would come out and bite me.
