After the Super Bowl everybody was shocked to see that the Undifedated Patriots' lost to the sucky New York Giants. In the last 39 seconds the Giants took over and won 17-14. I got so mad I started throwing stuff at my bedroom walls. But now I'm over it. I know the Patriots' will be once again Undifedated. Also, in 1979 the Miami Dolphins were unbeatable with their streak of
17-0. Now the Patriots' are in top place in the NFL History with their streak of 18-0.
Please commet me if when you read this.

Self Protection

Bird can escape from other predators or sometimes they fight. A bird called Tawny Frogmouth is hard to see because it looks like a part of a tree. There are four little birds attacking a big bird by flapping there wings because they want him to go away from them. Another bird called golden plover is pretending that its wings are broken so the predator thinks the golden plover is already getting eaten by something else. Animals leave hooded Pitohui alone because there wings are poisoned. And if an animal is eating the Pitohui and another animal sees him eating it and the animal died by eating it. Then the animal that was watching will never ever eat Pitohui. And it won’t help Pitohui to get the poison away from them.

Title: “A country in Turmoil.”
In Kenya a wave of violence spread all around the African nation. Mobs of protesters set buildings on fire because of “December 27 presidential elections.” And worse 300 people were killed and “Tens of thousands fled the country during the riots.” I guess those people were contumacious. Tribal groups [people who are supporting the other canidates] are doing most of the fighting. This all started right after Mwai Kibaki was “Sworn in for second term as president.” Raila Odinga the opposition candidate rejected the election results. Mwai wanted to hold a meeting but, Odinga said,” He would meet Mwai only if the president would admit he lost the election.” Mwai told TFK,” I am ready for dialogue with the concerned parties once the nation is calm.” The sad thing is “Odinga plans to continue to protest the election results.”

Title: The Patriots’ Perfection
	               By: Tristen
		 Date: January 18th, 2008

The Patriots might just be the best football team. With 16 straight wins they made football history on December 29,2007.
After beating the New York Giants 38-35 they secured their spot. They are also the first team to win every scheduled match up of the regular season since the Dolphins’ 14 consecutive winnings in 1982. The Patriots quarterback told TFK, “ It’s alot of hard work because every team is trying to beat us so our 16-0 streak with be over”. Over 34 million viewers tuned in for the historic showdown. The Patriots have to win 2 playoffs. Plus they have to win the SUPERBOWL on February 3rd to keep their season picture-perfect.

Singers seek a cure for diabetes

Mollie and Jackie (sisters) sing to raise money to help research about diabetes. “The singer sisters are lifting their voices for a cause close to their hearts”At age 4 Mollie had type1 diabetes. “Since then,” Jackie and Mollie wrote crooned country tunes to raise money to fight diabetes. They have donated more than $500,000 for diabetes research. I hope Mollie and Jackie raise more money to help scientist to research more about diabetes.

Singers Seek a Cure for Diabetes

The Singer sisters are singing there way to success of finding a cure for Diabetes by raising money for research for finding a cure. At a very young age Mollie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Since then Mollie and her twin sister, Jackie, now both 18, have written and sung country tunes to raise the money. So far they have raised over $500,000 for the Diabetes research. The twins have also participated in walks and charity concerts. Mollie calls her twin sister Jackie an “angel.” “We are on a team!” Jackie told TFK.

                                     By: Jodi Lynn Anderson

                                          Prologue
10 year old May Ellen Bird’s only friends in the human world are a house ghost named Pumpkin & her cat Somber Kitty. Inside she’s a warrior princess and she lets it out in the ever after, a world for the deased.

It all started when she fell into a lake that is a portal to another world.
May and her friends ,that she made in the ever after, go to the city of Ether to find the Book of the Dead to get out of the ever after. Will she ever get out? You’ll have to read it to find out.
I give this book 5 stars because it is so thrilling and surprising.

The Day I Meet a Football Player.

One day my dad, his friend Mike, his son Braham, and me went to a Seahawks game. Braham is a good friend of mine. The Seahawks played the Oakland Raiders. We were walking around and we saw Warren Moon. I was so surprised because I didn’t know who he was until my dad told me. I have a trading card of him when he played in college he had puffy 80’s hair. When I saw him he was bald. He played for the Huskies in college. It was amazing how tall he was his head would hit the classroom lights he was that tall. On his trading card it said he threw over 10,000 yards I think that is quite an accomplishment. That is one of my highlights of 07.
